Make them their own retirement song.

Tell us about them and the years they put in. We'll do the rest.

Hear one first — a made-up retirement, a real song.

Their age is never mentioned in the song — it just picks the kind of music they grew up on.

Retirement songs — the questions people ask

Can several of us contribute to one song?

Yes, and that is the best way to do it. Collect everyone's memories into the notes before you start — the song is written from whatever you put in.

What if it is for a colleague rather than family?

That works well. The years, the running joke, the thing they always fixed for everyone else — a working life has plenty to sing about.

Can I print something for the card everyone signs?

Yes. Once the song is finished you can download a 5x7 card with a code on it, so whoever opens the card hears the song.

Is it really free?

Yes — no account, no email address and no card. If you would like to give something, give it to Boston Children's Hospital instead.
